"Refracted Joy” is 9” x 12" watercolor, on 120 lb. Cold Pressed Cotton Paper. This painting evolved spontaneously as I worked with the feeling of joy and the complexity of life. The pinks and greens set the tone for multiple mini scenes that traverse the beautiful in life even during the challenges. Showing beauty in the simple colors of stillness.
