"Moonrise" Original Watercolor Painting

"Moonrise" is 9 " x 12" on 140 lb. cold pressed paper. After a day in the forest and spending some time with owls, I was inspired to do this painting. Although we did get this close to great grey owl, I really wanted to play with the painting of a white owl. The rainbow clouds had also been part of our day, and I thought it added a feeling of hope to the graceful landing and a full moon rising.
