"Wisdom in Flight” Original Watercolor Painting

"Wisdom in Flight” is 7” x 7" watercolor, on 120 lb. Cold Pressed Cotton Paper. This unexpected little delight arrived during an abstract piece I was working on. The shape of the right eye appeared among the blues and yellows… I set aside the abstract as the wings took shape, and I am truly happy to now include this little barn owl in my collection of painted works. I noticed the focus point on the feet after it was complete. Perhaps a reminder to ground our wisdom.
